Cookie Policy

Draft: not yet in force

This document is a draft waiting for legal review. Text in [brackets] is still to be filled in. This notice only shows outside production.

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's "local storage", work in the same way. This policy covers both, on Anterra itself. Apps that people build on Anterra have their own cookies and their own cookie notices, which their owners are responsible for.

What we use by default

By default we only use what Anterra needs to work and to keep your account safe. The law doesn't require your consent for these, and you can't switch them off here. You can block them in your browser, but then signing in won't work.

NameWhat it doesHow long
authjs.session-token (or __Secure-authjs.session-token)Keeps you signed inUntil you sign out, at most 30 days
authjs.csrf-token, authjs.callback-url, authjs.state, authjs.pkce.code_verifierProtect the sign-in process and bring you back to the right pageUntil you close the browser, or a few minutes
wc.signin-methodRemembers how you are signing in, during sign-in5 minutes
wc_didA random device ID. We use it to spot fake sign-ups and suspicious sign-ins. We only store a scrambled version of it.2 years
wc.ssoProtects single sign-on for organisations that use itA few minutes
localeRemembers the language you chose, if you choose oneUntil you change it
wc_consentRemembers your cookie choices1 year
anterra_reviewLets someone you invited review your app without an accountUntil the review link expires
__weave_previewLets you open your app's Preview (on preview.anterra.io)For your Preview session
wc_impersonationOnly for our support staff, when you have let them look at your accountUntil the time-limited support session ends

We also keep a few settings in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme, whether you have seen the welcome tour, and how you arranged the builder's panels. They never leave your device.

Optional analytics

We don't use analytics or advertising cookies on Anterra at the moment.

If we add analytics to help us improve Anterra, we will only use them after you say yes. We will ask you with a clear choice where "No" is as easy as "Yes", and we will list the cookies here first. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie choices" button on this page.

Changing your choices

Use the "Cookie choices" button on this page, or clear cookies in your browser settings. The ICO's website explains how cookies work and how to control them: ico.org.uk/for-the-public/online/cookies.
